How Porter Road Works

You choose how often you receive your subscription box—every two, four, or eight weeks. Porter Road automatically renews and delivers your order according to your chosen schedule. 

The service gives you full flexibility to cancel or modify your order whenever you need to. Its butchers inspect each cut of meat in your order, ensuring the highest, pasture-raised quality. Porter Road keeps your meats cool, but not frozen, using gel packs and sustainable insulation during delivery, which takes around 3-5 days. 

For best quality, the company recommends eating or freezing poultry as soon as possible, within four days of delivery. The pork should be consumed or frozen within five days and lamb within seven days. The beef cuts stay fresh for longer, but you should aim to eat or freeze it within 10 days. You can use beef beyond this time as long as it doesn't smell sour or feel slimy.
