Meals contain enough food for one person, and you can choose from 7, 10, 15, 18, and 21 meals per week. The selection of breakfast, lunch, and dinner dishes means you can pick a meal plan that’s suited to your schedule and requirements.

I loved the breakfast burrito bowl, which contains all the best bits about breakfast! Fluffy scrambled eggs are mixed with smoky grilled chorizo, topped with cheddar cheese and chipotle mayo, then finished with a side of seasoned potatoes.

Fans of eating keto will love the keto chicken parmesan, which pairs succulent, lean chicken breast with tender cauliflower florets, courgetti, and a delicious alfredo sauce. Aged parmesan cheese and marinara sauce add a tasty finish.

I was also a fan of the island chicken and rice, which blends Caribbean-spiced chicken with creamy coconut rice and red beans. Shredded coconut, pickled jalapeño, and a dusting of cinnamon ensure this dish is jam-packed with flavor.

How to Choose Meals with FlexPro Meals

While there are no diet-specific meal plans, FlexPro offers different categories to browse and select from: customer favorites, keto, high protein, and low carb.

There is also an allergen filter where you can exclude meals with gluten, dairy, beef, or pork. All meals include macro information, so you’ll know exactly what you’re putting in your body.

If you’re not sure the meals will fill you up, you can choose high-protein add-ons from the Power Bakery. From peanut butter treats to fudge cake bites, these high-protein sweet treats are the perfect snack or dessert. 

Does FlexPro Meals Come With Cooking Instructions?

FlexPro Meals are about convenience, so there’s no cooking involved. Each meal comes with heating instructions on the label, and most take less than two minutes to cook.

Meals also come with storage directions. You can keep your meals in the freezer for up to six weeks, letting them thaw in the fridge before microwaving. For even more convenience, you can microwave the entire container, including the film.

The thing I liked best about FlexPro Meals is that it makes eating delicious, diverse, and nutritionally balanced meals quick and convenient. If you’re health-conscious but don’t have time to cook, a FlexPro Meals subscription is perfect, as there’s no cooking or prep involved.

FlexPro Meals Packaging, Shipping, and Delivery

Meals are shipped flash-frozen and packed in insulated gel packages, so they should arrive still frozen. If any meals arrive partially thawed, that’s fine—as long as they’re cold, they’re still good to eat. Just put them in the freezer once they arrive.

FlexPro Meals delivers throughout the continental United States, as well as Alaska and Hawaii. Shipping costs $9.99 to continental states, while Alaska and Hawaii shipping costs $25. Meals are packed in an “Earth Friendly'' recycled box—which you can then recycle again.

Depending on the nature of your complaint, FlexPro may give you credit or offer a refund. However, in some cases it may require you to send a photo of the meal kit before a refund is issued.

How to Cancel or Pause FlexPro Meals

A FlexPro Meals subscription is flexible, so if you'd like to skip an order, it’s no problem. Log in to the Member Portal and edit the date of your next delivery by clicking manage subscription. 

However, be aware that billing takes place every Wednesday, so if you’d like to skip or cancel an order, you need to do it by Monday. Changes made to deliveries after Monday won’t be processed in time, so your meals will still be delivered.

If you’d like to cancel your FlexPro Meals subscription, you can call customer support or use the live chat option. Cancellations also must be requested by the Monday before your next billing date.

FlexPro Meals is slightly cheaper than Factor, though meals are similarly priced. However, Factor has more variety when it comes to dietary needs, as it offers flexitarian, keto, vegetarian, and vegan meals. There are also more meal plans—five compared to two.

FlexPro Meals vs HelloFresh

FlexPro Meals is more expensive than HelloFresh, but you’re paying extra for convenience. FlexPro Meals arrive pre-cooked, whereas HelloFresh meals require prep and cooking. On the flip side, HelloFresh offers more dietary options and allows members to choose between meals for one or two.

FlexPro Meals vs Home Chef

A Home Chef subscription is cheaper than FlexPro Meals, but, once again, you’re paying extra for speed and convenience. Home Chef meals require prepping and cooking, so they’re not ideal if you’re pushed for time. Unlike FlexPro Meals, however, Home Chef offers vegetarian options.

Bottom Line

FlexPro Meals is ideal for busy people who are interested in healthy eating, but don’t have time to cook. A FlexPro Meals subscription makes it easy to enjoy balanced, tasty meals—although more variety in terms of dietary options would be appreciated. Ultimately, I would order again—especially if I knew I had a busy month ahead!
