Email Marketing

Personalization Builder

User.com’s email marketing system makes it easy for users to build out personalized emails. By assigning variables to each stored lead, users can build pixel perfect HTML template emails that contain unique content for each user. Users can either assign a default template to a user or create custom variables to reflect the uniqueness of their business.

Drag and Drop

There’s no need to be a HTML coding whiz to design beautiful looking HTML email. Like Mailchimp and many other email marketing platforms, User.com is a drag-and-drop builder and users simply need to select and order the elements in their template. Those that want more precision can modify the code—but knowing it is not a prerequisite.

Automatic Campaign Scheduling

User.com’s email marketing solution works in harmony with the automation builder. Users are able to create email campaigns that will send once automatic conditions are achieved. For instance, using User.com users could configure a post purchase automation which could send out a drip email campaign a certain number of days after a purchase was logged or automatically processed through the system.

GDPR Compliant

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) has imposed limitations on what data companies can store about customers based in EU member states as well as for how long. Using User.com, users don’t need to put special effort into achieving compliance with the regulation: the tool’s opt-in functionality is designed to help companies automatically achieve compliance with the legislation.

Third Party SMTP Support

Sending email is impossible without an outbound (SMTP) email server. Thankfully, User.com both offers SMTP as part of its solution and also allows users to use a third party SMTP. Users that wish to send marketing email through GSuite, Office 365 or a dedicated email SMTP provider, such as Sendgrid or Send in Blue, can all do so while availing of User.com’s email automation functionalities.

A/B Testing

In order to achieve the best results with their campaigns, marketers need to test various versions of their email in order to see which performs best. User.com supports A/B testing, automatically sending different versions of an email at random and reporting back on which had the higher open and clickthrough rate, among other tracked metrics.

Open Rate, Click Rate, Unsubscribe Tracking

User.com’s email marketing offers real time open rate, clickthrough, and unsubscribe tracking. These activities can be further integrated into the automation engine in order to create more and different content for the most engaged segments of users’ audiences.

9 Channel Automation

Email marketing is only one of the means that users can use in order to stay in touch with marketing and sales leads. User.com supports segmentation across 9 different channels, allowing users to deliver a truly omnichannel marketing and sales experience across multiple touchpoints. Other parts of the User.com system—like the live chat feature, the call center functionalities and push notifications—integrate fully with the email automation tool. Users however aren’t locked into the whole system and can choose to deploy only the modules they require within their organization.

Pricing

The email marketing component of User.com is only available on the top 2 plans (Business and Premium). While User.com does offer a free tier for those that only need to store up to 2,000 contacts, as well as a Personal tier, neither offers email marketing support.

Customer Service

User.com uses a combined live chat and email system in order to assist customers and help them make the best out of the solution. Users generally report that the team is able to quickly resolve their issues. Those that require advanced assistance are able to purchase the Premium Assistance package for $999 per month. The Assistance team offers support with instant implementation and account management.

Bottom Line

User.com’s email marketing solution is offered on its 2 premium subscription levels. It’s a mature email marketing system that integrates with the other User.com components—most importantly its email marketing system. Third party SMTP is supported as well as A/B testing. It’s a mature email marketing tool that would be of use to any organization seeking to leverage the power of automation to streamline their sales and marketing funnels.
