Value for Money
Overall, Logoworks’ logo design prices seem high when we compare it to others in the market. But the quality seems to speak for itself. That said, if you’re looking for quantity over quality, you’re not really going to find it here.
Logoworks has several packages for you to pick, starting with its Silver Package at $299, through its “Agency Start Up” Package at $2,999. The Silver Package comes with 4 concept designs and 2 rounds of revisions - so it’s great if you are a little picky about how you want their final design to look. There are more expensive packages available, and these come with additional concepts and unlimited revisions, which is even better.
It’s important to note that the first two rounds of revisions may not include significant changes to the design, and from the third revision onwards, changes must be "modifications of the current composition only". So, you may be paying extra for any major changes needed beyond this point.
There is good news though: Logoworks does have a good money-back guarantee – you receive a full refund, minus a $99 fee.As always, it is important to read the Terms and Conditions to further understand the refund and money-back policies.
Portfolio/experience
As with any logo design company - especially those exclusively online - it’s always good to get a bearing for its portfolio and previous work. This will give you a clear idea of the design style and flair for originality and creativity. Logoworks knows this, and has a decent folio of logo samples - all categorized.
It would be a nice additional feature to be able to find out more about the experience of the designers working on the projects. This would add a face to the whole process, which Logoworks has already done a great job of.
Contract Terms
It’s easy to the Terms and Conditions and find contract information on the site. Plus, Logoworks makes it very clear about what is and isn’t included in the various packages. The Terms and Conditions page is relatively short, concise and clear. And everything seems fair in terms of the design and feedback process, payment, and money-backs and refunds. It also has a really nicely designed FAQ section, and makes it clear that its helpful support team are always available to assist.
Customer Service
It’s always good to know that if you have a problem, it can be dealt with quickly and efficiently. Thankfully, Logoworks’ support is above average in the market. Customers can get in touch via phone, email and even live chat - something many logo design companies don’t offer.
It’s a nice way to give a friendly face to an online process that can sometimes feel a little daunting, especially when it’s all online. There’s also an advanced ‘Project Central’, which is a kind of hub where customers can log in, post feedback, view FAQs, and download their logos etc.
Silver Package – $299
Gold Package – $399
Platinum Package – $599
Design Process
So many online logo design company websites seem really cluttered and busy, and it can sometimes be hard to know where to start - especially if you’re not design savvy. Thankfully, Logoworks’ website is really user-friendly, and accessible – making it easy for customers to get the design process rolling.
Once you’ve submitted your brief, things can move fast. You can expect a turnaround time of 3 business days for initial logo concepts, and 2 business days for each revision. This means you can have a fantastic new logo in under a week - which is a great if you are up against important deadlines. Logoworks will supply the final logo in a large selection of formats to suit you, including vector, EPS, JPG, GIF, TIFF and BMP. They will also provide a black and white version of the logo.
Conclusion
Logoworks is a solid, reliable, online logo design service - with a lot of great features. Sure, there are areas for improvement, and it is a little pricey in places if you’re on a budget; but if you’re looking for professional, high-quality designs, great customer support, unlimited revisions and a money-back guarantee, then you’re in the right place.
