monday.com is essentially high-quality collaboration software, and this shows when it comes to specific tools for sales teams. It brings a lot of value to sales departments that need to collaborate to meet sales goals. You can use monday.com to assign qualified leads to specific sales reps to follow up, keep all relevant customer data in one place so that sales agents are always fully informed, and make sure that no one misses a deadline. But if you're looking for advanced sales automation tools, like automatic lead scoring, website visitor tracking, and social media insights, monday.com will leave you disappointed.

Customization and Integrations

monday.com makes it very easy to customize your boards. You can change the layout or color, add or remove rows, columns, and tasks, and organize boards however you’d like.

In terms of integrations, it's a little more limited. monday.com integrates with major apps like Slack, Google Drive, Jira, and Dropbox, but there's no open API, and the number of apps is tiny in comparison with other CRMs. It’s possible to add custom integrations, but to do that you'll have to get in touch with monday.com and ask for expert assistance—for an added fee.

Reporting and Dashboards

monday.com is all about the visuals. You can flip between Kanban, timeline, calendar view, map view, and chart view, as well as viewing reports and dashboards by user. monday.com's plans all include unlimited viewers and boards, over 20 columns, and embedded forms. The pricing depends on the number of users as well as your choice of plan.

If you’re using the lowest tier, you just get advanced collaboration tools. The Standard and Pro plans add calendar, timeline, and map views, customized forms, and advanced search. With the Pro plan, you’ll also get time tracking, custom tags, and the option to create private boards. monday.com is a fairly easy-to-use program, although the huge range of actions and rules can be a little overwhelming at first. However, monday.com makes sure to provide plenty of help and support for new users. There are webinars, video tutorials, on-demand walkthroughs, and guides galore. monday.com is excellent at helping sales, marketing, and customer service teams connect and communicate. It streamlines sales and marketing pipelines and makes it easy to present workflows, as well as delivering a single location to unite all customer data. My team and I enjoy using it. Mainly the analytics and reporting section we also are able to communicate through the same system and allows us to track current with whatever project that's going on because we are all in different time zones in there's a couple out of the country.
