HSC vs. Global Home Protection
Compared to Global Home Protection, HSC’s premium for basic coverage is more expensive. In addition, its $65-$125 service fee could cost you more than Global’s $45-$100 fee. If you want to save money on your premium and fees, Global is the better choice. However, if you want access to a larger confirmed network of contractors, HSC is the right option for you.
HSC vs. American Home Shield
When compared to American Home Shield, HSC charades a similar amount for full-home coverage. However, American Home Shield could be the better option if you opt for less coverage. On the other hand, HSC may save you money in service fees, as its fees on the low end are cheaper than those charged at American Home Shield.
HSC vs. Puls Home Services
Given its home warranty model, Puls Home Services charges cheaper premiums than HSC. If you want to save money on premiums and service fees, then Puls is the right company for you. That said, if you want access to a larger number of in-network contractors, you would be better off choosing HSC.
Bottom Line
The Home Service Club is suitable for homeowners who want to get the most coverage possible out of their home warranty. While its premiums and service fees are higher than those of several competitors, it offers promotions that make its plans more affordable. Unlike many others, HSC provides pest coverage and unique features like utility line coverage. Support is available 24/7 online, and HSC schedules service requests within 12 to 48 hours of you submitting your claim.
