This has to be one of the most obvious and useful features when it comes to project management. And shockingly, it is wildly under-represented (meaning, most companies don’t offer anything like this). Fortunately, Airtable does, and here’s why you’re going to love templates. Airtable provides you with a whole array of templates to choose from. Much like the templates concept you’d use when building a website, project management templates give you a skeleton, and all you have to do is plug in your own personal information.

Let’s say you are trying to make an editorial calendar. Airtable has a template for that, so your calendar is ready for you to just add your content details. As you can imagine, this has tremendous applications and can save you hours. Blocks are like miniature storyboards, but you can add anything you want to them. For example, the data block isn’t just a bunch of numbers. You can create bar graphs, scatter charts, line graphs, you name it. If you have a presentation, you can use the blocks features page designer to create a draft in minutes. And don’t even get us started on the 3D model explorer and what you can do with that.
