You will then be asked to schedule a 10-minute talk with a customer representative who will take you through the rest of the process.

What’s Unique About Payline?

“Experience payments differently” is Payline’s tagline, and it refers to the company’s provision of a multitude of payment options for its customers. You can set up Payline to take transactions in-store, on mobile devices, by phone, and also by way of an Ecommerce site, meaning it can serve as an all-in-one platform for processing your company’s payments. That said, if you want to be able to accept payments online, it will cost you more than the swipe-only plan.

Ecommerce payments are facilitated by the company’s virtual terminal, which syncs with QuickBooks SyncPay. If you’d like to set up subscription billing, you can do so easily with Payline, for single or even large batches of customers.

Through Payline you can purchase mobile point of sale transaction platforms that can be fitted into the headphone jack of a mobile device or used as a desktop register. You can also integrate your Payline account with Quickbooks, though the platform doesn’t appear to have as many integrations as some competitors.

Security is a major priority for Payline, which follows Payment Card Industry compliance requirements. You will receive special verification means for customers, and your Payline account allows you to use the Verify Cardholder Dispute Resolution Network, which protects your payments and prevents chargebacks.

The pricing for Payline is transparent and easy to understand, and the company also offers a “price match guarantee” if you're considering moving over from a different CCP provider. Regardless, whichever plan you go with you will have no annual fees and no long-term contracts, which should make the decision a little easier.

Customer Support

If you need some help operating your Payline Review account, your first bet should be to check out the FAQ section on the company website. If you still need answers, you can call the company’s support line from 8am-5pm central time, Monday through Friday. You can also fill out an online form on the company website.

The company does not operate a 24/7 customer support option and there isn’t a live chat.

Pricing (Software and Hardware)

The pricing on Payline Data is designed to be simple and transparent. There are 2 pricing plans—swipe and keyed-in/online. The former is for people who only want to make transactions by way of the platform’s mobile reader, and the latter is for customers who also want to be able to run an Ecommerce site and key in charges by phone.

There are a number of other charges to take into account, including $43 for the mobile reader and $298 for the Ingenico countertop terminal. If you want a virtual terminal to key in credit cards and send invoices, it will cost an additional $10 per month.

The company has a monthly minimum of $25 and charges you $25 if you lose a chargeback dispute, as well as $19.95 if you fail to complete a PCI compliance survey within 90 days of being approved.
