Is Yes Hearing Worth It?

Yes Hearing is a hearing aid service offering branded products at competitive prices with a 45-day money-back guarantee. I like its mission of providing responsible care to improve quality of life for seniors and those suffering hearing loss.

The company doesn’t operate everywhere, so you’ll need to check available locations with them in advance. However, If you need a convenient, in-home hearing aid service, Yes Hearing is worth considering.

i replace my Oticon hearing aids
I needed to replace my Oticon hearing aids I’ve had for 3 years. I saw Yes hearing ad on Facebook. I called them and found the price of their Oticon aids was the same I paid 3 years ago. They sent a hearing specialist to my house to conduct the hearing test, which I found to be more in-depth than the one I got from my ENT audiologist. They seem to be working better than the old ones. I’m very happy with them so far (3 months).

Yes Hearing at a Glance

What is Yes Hearing?

Yes Hearing is the largest concierge hearing provider in the US, working with the top 1% of providers in each city. By eliminating the costs of a physical office, Yes Hearing passes those savings on to you. Partnering with leading hearing aid manufacturers, they offer advanced testing, fitting, and ongoing telehealth solutions without you leaving your home.

Hearing specialists come to your home (where available) to test in real-world environments, like with the TV on or in the garden. With in-home or virtual care, remote adjustments, and transparent pricing up to 40% lower than traditional providers, Yes Hearing ensures comprehensive and affordable hearing care.

Yes Hearing features

Yes Hearing is a licensed provider offering a range of advanced, custom-fitted hearing aids from the world’s leading manufacturers such as Phonak, Oticon, ReSound, Widex, and Starkey, featuring the latest technology like rechargeable batteries, Bluetooth connectivity, and intelligent sound adaptation.

These hearing aids are designed for users with mild-severe hearing loss and are available in a variety of technology levels, colors and styles.

Below are some of the hearing aids currently on sale on the Yes Hearing Shop:

Oticon MORE 1

The Oticon MORE 1 is a rechargeable hearing aid that offers calls via Bluetooth, audio streaming on both Android and iOS, and an improved deep neural network (DNN) approach. DNN is a machine learning method that tries to mimic the functioning of the brain. It enables the hearing aids to differentiate, reduce, or elevate sounds.

This product would be best suited for younger people who love the outdoors, listening to music, and staying connected to their friends via their smartphones. Note that you’ll need to call Yes Hearing for a quote.

Signia Styletto 7AX Kit

The Signia Styletto 7AX Kit is another rechargeable hearing aid enabling you to hear speech clearly in immersive environments. Its price starts from $4,550. It’s much smaller than the previous model, making it sleeker to wear and use. This hearing aid will work well for those who prefer a more inconspicuous model.

Phonak Audéo Paradise Life

The Phonak Audéo Paradise Life is sweatproof, waterproof, and showerproof. It’s an excellent solution for those who have active lifestyles, and young children may also be able to wear this device as they run around and play. Furthermore, it’s rechargeable (using induction charging), and has an improved sound quality over its predecessor. It sells for $2,575 for a single hearing aid and $5,150 for a pair.

Resound ONE 9

The Resound ONE 9 costs $2,275 for a single hearing aid and $4,550 for a pair. It has a rechargeable battery option and features an in-ear microphone and receiver. This hearing aid would particularly suit a business-oriented person who takes a lot of calls. Additionally, its M&RIE (Microphone & Receiver-In-Ear) design provides an individualized hearing experience that improves one-to-one conversations.

Starkey Evolv AI 2400 RIC/BTE

The Starkey Evolv AI 2400 RIC/BTE is a Bluetooth-compatible hearing aid, costing $2,475 for a single hearing aid and $4,950 for a pair. It has multiple energy options, including rechargeable and battery-powered solutions. This model improves on the previous one by reducing surrounding noise levels to make sounds clearer. It works best for those who need fully-charged hearing aids available throughout the day.

Signia Insio Charge & Go 7AX

The Signia Insio Charge & Go 7AX are custom-made, rechargeable hearing aids designed to fit your ear canal. A single earpiece costs $2,475, whereas a pair is $4,950. It has wireless charging and Augmented Xperience technology to provide speech clarity. Its customizable color options make it ideal for those looking for a discreet solution because you can match it to your skin or hair tone.

Signia Active/Active Pro X

As the name suggests, the Signia Active Pro and the Active Pro X are for people who are often on the go. They have a modern look, a custom fit for the ear, and work well in different settings. The Active Pro is for low-noise areas, whereas the Active Pro X works well in louder settings like restaurants and airports. Both cost $2,950 for a single hearing aid and $4,550 for a pair.

Starkey Evolv AI 2400 ITE/ITC

The Starkey Evolv AI 2400 (ITE/ITC) is a small in-the-ear hearing aid that is rechargeable and Bluetooth-compatible with Android and iOS devices. It comes in multiple colors and is custom-made to fit your ear. This hearing aid is suitable for patients who prefer hidden hearing aids. You must speak to a Yes Hearing specialist to get the price.

Yes Hearing additional services and products

All hearing aids offered by Yes Hearing are the same as you would see in a local hearing clinic or at your ENT office. Focusing on the best prescription devices, there are over 100+ products, with 3 technology levels, a range of colors and different feature sets. Choose from a wide of range of features including Bluetooth technology, streaming support, TV streaming, invisible design, wind noise reduction, restaurant background noise reduction and more.

Discreet in-the-ear models are available for mild to moderate loss, while powerful behind-the-ear options serve those with more severe loss. The devices ensure a seamless audio experience with streaming capabilities and automatic environmental adjustments, supported by remote adjustments for real-time fine-tuning.

Is Yes Hearing Safe and Reliable?

Yes Hearing has a rating of 4.4 out of 5 on Trustpilot. Many reviews mentioned excellent customer service, high-quality products, and comparatively low prices. The few negative reviews complained about substandard service after purchase, delayed product delivery, and hidden charges.

The products sold by Yes Hearing are from highly-rated brands that provide safe and reliable hearing loss solutions. I like that there’s a 45-day money-back guarantee to return the items if you’re not satisfied with them.

Furthermore, while the company collects your personal information to provide the service, it doesn’t share or sell it to third parties without receiving your consent.

How Yes Hearing Works

To begin your journey to better hearing, Yes Hearing offers a question-based hearing assessment on their website to evaluate your lifestyle and hearing loss. Once the assessment has been submitted, one of Yes Hearing’s expert hearing specialists will reach out to talk about your unique hearing needs and find the perfect solution tailored just for you. They will help to find the right device and service based on your hearing history, specific lifestyle needs, budget and location.

Depending on your needs, you will either receive an in-home hearing test and fitting, or a remote hearing test and fitting from a licensed Audiologist. You will be offered the choice of over 100 of the best name-brand hearing aids available on the market, ranging from $900 up to $2,600 per ear.

How To Get Started With Yes Hearing / How To Sign Up for Yes Hearing

To get started, click on the “Book” button to arrange a free phone consultation with a specialist, or try the virtual consultation option. A calendar will display the specific dates and times available, and you’ll receive an online application form to provide your name and additional details.

During the consultation, the specialist will provide personalized advice, taking into account your budget, lifestyle, and your level of hearing. This takes about 30 minutes. Alternatively, you can go to the online store, browse the options, and purchase your chosen hearing aids.

You won't need to visit an audiologist for a prescription first, as Yes Hearing will test your hearing when they come to your home to fit the devices.

Yes Hearing Customer Service

Yes Hearing offers customer support via phone at 800-730-3396, Monday-Friday from 9am to 7pm (ET) and on Saturdays from 9am to 5pm (ET). I found that response times were quick and the customer support agents were friendly.

You can also reach the team via online form and email at contact@yeshearing.com, but it can take several days to get a response. A live chat box on the website appears when customer service agents are online, but when you click on it, it refers you to the company phone number.

Yes Hearing doesn’t have a blog, and its FAQs aren’t comprehensive. However, Yes Hearing offers remote care work, meaning you can reach out to a specialist and receive a response to your queries.

Is There a Yes Hearing App?

Yes Hearing doesn’t have an app. However, the brands that it partners with—such as Phonak—have generic or brand-made mobile apps for Android and iOS. These apps can enable you to manage features such as accepting phone calls via Bluetooth.

Yes Hearing Pricing

How Much Does Yes Hearing Cost?

Yes Hearing’s pricing is transparent, and it gives you enhanced control over your treatment by separating its products from its support service. Pricing for hearing aids ranges from $975 to $5,000+.

When shopping on the website, you can choose to view products according to the kind of amplification you need. Hearing aids in the Essential category are for places that are rarely crowded and cost from $1,395 per pair.

The Advanced level starts from $2,995 per pair and is for people who mostly stay indoors. For noisy or crowded areas, you’ll need either the Premium level, from $3,495 per pair, or the Ultimate level from $3,995 per pair.

Yes Hearing splits service costs into three tiers—Starter, Advanced, and Premium—and you may be able to get an offer of 20% off if you pay annually instead of monthly.

The Starter plan works best for beginners who are on a budget but still looking for quality service and access to products. Advanced takes the Starter features and adds annual ear exams and additional home visits. Finally, Premium offers higher-level features, with expedited home and delivery services and 50% off on all additional home visits.

Yes Hearing claims its prices are up to 40% lower than the industry average of about $1,000-$4,000. There’s no added sales tax on its hearing aids, which helps to reduce its prices. You can also spread the product cost through financing solutions, such as Affirm, CareCredit, and Allegro.

Nevertheless, there are additional fees that you might incur, for example, if you wish to book an extra home visit. Note also that while there’s a money-back guarantee, you’ll still have to pay a $100 restocking fee for all returned hearing aids.

What can you do with Yes Hearing for free?

There’s no free trial, but you can get the full Yes Hearing service with a 45-day money-back guarantee. This will include the home visit, the ear examination, the product recommendation suited to your hearing needs, and more.

Optional add-ons

If you wish to make an additional booking with an in-home ear specialist from Yes Hearing, you can do so for a fee agreed upon with the company.

Yes Hearing vs Jabra Enhance

Jabra Enhance offers a 100-day money-back guarantee compared to 45 days with Yes Hearing. Also, its warranty lasts three years, whereas Yes Hearing offers a two-year repair warranty. Jabra Enhance has its own Enhance Select hearing aid models, but Yes Hearing only sells other brand models, like Phonak.

Yes Hearing vs Hear.com

Hear.com and Yes Hearing both offer a 45-day money-back guarantee, and they provide flexible financing. Hear.com has its own hearing aid brand (Horizon) but also connects you to other brand sellers, whereas Yes Hearing doesn’t have any own-brand hearing aid models. While Yes Hearing has limited self-help resources, Hear.com provides adequate documentation to guide its customers.

Yes Hearing vs Audicus

Audicus and Yes Hearing have similar 45-day money-back guarantees and financing options through companies like Affirm. Yes Hearing offers in-home services, whereas Audicus requires you to visit one of its clinics. Audicus administers hearing tests online, while Yes Hearing specialists handle them in person. Additionally, Audicus has its own hearing aid models, but Yes Hearing sells other brands, like Signia.

Bottom Line (Is Yes Hearing Worth It?)

Yes Hearing is a convenient service offering a wide variety of high-quality hearing aids, a free hearing test, instructions on using ear devices, and ongoing support to enhance your experience.

I like that it delivers the hearing aids to your doorstep and takes time to ensure the devices work for you before leaving. Moreover, it has flexible payment plans to help you get the hearing aids you prefer. Overall, if you’re looking for a personalized hearing aid service offering good value, then Yes Hearing is worth considering.

Couldn't be happier with YesHearing.com…
Couldn't be happier with YesHearing.com. I tried Yes and one of their competitors (hear.com). YesHearing was the better of the two. The customer service was superior at Yes. Adam Alexander was so great to work with. He was very responsive and always provided timely responses. The fitting procedure was with an audiologist in person and much better because of it. I ended up going with the Oticon Intent. The hearing aids work great. They come with a 3-year warranty and are insured against loss or damage over the 3 years with a deductible.
