How Vidgo Works
Using Vidgo is fairly straightforward, especially if you’re switching to streaming from a traditional cable subscription. Simply sign up for a package to get access to all of the channels that Vidgo supports. You can then watch live TV on your web browser, mobile device, or on any TV with a Roku, Apple TV, or Amazon FireTV device. You can stream on up to 3 devices simultaneously.
Vidgo offers an on-screen TV guide to help you navigate the platform. You can save frequently watched channels as favorites or use the included filters to find sports, entertainment, and news channels. Simply click on any program to switch to that channel.
Notably, Vidgo does not offer a DVR function. You cannot automatically record upcoming shows or watch programs that are more than a few days old. However, you can watch programs that aired within the last 72 hours on most channels.
The catch is that Vidgo’s guide doesn’t enable you to see a grid of recently aired programs. Instead, you have to go to a specific channel in order to see what programs are still available.
Vidgo also offers an on-demand library with more than 14,000 titles. The library is somewhat poorly organized, and you can only search by title or channel name. There are no categories or algorithms to help surface content you likely want to watch.

Vidgo offers customer support through an online ticketing system only. The platform’s website also has a knowledge base with around 18 articles. The knowledge base is relatively basic, and none of the articles have screenshots or video tutorials.
Is There a Vidgo App?
Vidgo offers mobile apps for iOS and Android that work similarly to the web and television apps. You cannot download shows to watch on the go, so you must have an internet connection in order to stream with the mobile app.
You’ll find the same grid-style TV guide on the mobile app to navigate available shows. On the one hand, that’s good because you don’t need to learn a new interface. On the other hand, trying to navigate the guide with your fingers can be tricky.
One feature that’s available on the Vidgo mobile apps but not through your browser or television is watch parties. With the Vidgo mobile app, you can stream shows at the same time as friends and family while keeping a video chat open. Keep in mind that anyone you want to watch with will need to have a Vidgo subscription.

How Much Does Vidgo Cost?
Vidgo offers 2 plans for English-language channels and an additional plan that bundles Spanish-language channels. The English Plus package costs $55 per month and includes channels like ESPN, NFL Network, Fox Sports, Fox News, National Geographic, HGTV, Discovery, and Disney.
The English Premium plan costs $79.95 per month. It adds NFL RedZone as well as a few other channels, so it’s best if you plan to watch football.
The Spanish Mas package costs $30 per month and includes Bandamax, Fox Deportes, Nat Geo Mundo, Univision, ESPN Deportes, and more.
All plans include unlimited access to Vidgo’s on-demand library, which hosts more than 14,000 movies and shows. Overall, Vidgo isn’t the cheapest streaming service, but it’s relatively affordable compared to similar services that have deals with a wider range of networks.
Optional Add-Ons
Vidgo doesn’t offer any additional services, but you can connect it to several 3rd-party platforms. For example, while it doesn’t offer a built-in DVR, you can connect to a service like Channels DVR, which costs $8 per month.
Bottom Line
Vidgo is a video streaming service that offers access to more than 100 channels, including dozens of sports channels. The platform carves out a niche for itself by offering relatively affordable packages that offer lots of channels, including normally pricey channels like NFL RedZone.
Vidgo has several nice features, including support for streaming on up to 3 devices and mobile watch parties. However, it lacks a built-in DVR, and the on-demand library can be difficult to navigate.
