By default, plans come with a 30-day and 1000-mile waiting period.
Optional add-ons aren’t available.
A wide range of vehicle parts and accessories isn’t covered. A full list of these exclusions can be found on the Toco Warranty website. General maintenance, pre-existing conditions, and issues caused by a failure to perform maintenance aren’t covered. Other things that could void your policy include aftermarket alterations, unauthorized commercial use, and damage from things like fire, theft, or vandalism.
Toco Warranty Plan Pricing
Toco Warranty offers custom prices according to your vehicle and its age and condition. Price estimates are available via an online quote tool, which we tested to help you get an idea of what you can expect to pay.
We were quoted $84.12 to $120.96 per month for a 2020 Ford Explorer with 40,000 miles. For a 2010 Nissan Pathfinder that has done 100,000 miles, you can expect to pay $94.38 per month. Similar price ranges appeared with further tests. Variable deductibles do apply if you need to request repairs.
How to file a claim with Toco Warranty
If your car is driveable, you will need to take it to a licensed repairer. Provide them with your contract and then speak with the Toco Warranty team before repairs are carried out to ensure they are authorized. If your vehicle is disabled, follow the steps on the Toco Warranty website to connect with roadside assistance and get it to the nearest repairer. Repairs will be made within a reasonable timeframe, but this can depend on your repairer, how busy they are, and whether they need to wait for parts to arrive. There doesn’t appear to be any payout cap.
