You can add as many relatives as you want, search for people by name (only one record view though), upload photos, and import GEDCOM files. Genes Reunited actually has a great Keepsafe feature. It’s like an online vault where you can store your photos and documents. You can also edit, share, and pin these files for other people on your tree. Free members can also reply to messages from others. If you’re happy staying at this level, then no need to pay a thing. 

If you want to have a more involved experience, including viewing more records or sending messages, you’ll need to pay for credits. Genes Reunited sells a basic or a bulk credits package, and credits get cheaper the more you buy. If you want access to all the features on Genes Reunited, you can purchase a full subscription plan.
