Pricing (Software and Hardware)
Helcim has clear and transparent pricing. Using the POS software itself is free. You pay a fixed purchase price for your terminals, plus the payment processing fees for each card transaction that goes through.
Payment processing is charged on a basis of “interchange plus” (interchange being the rate charged by the card networks). Helcim passes the interchange cost to you at a wholesale rate and you are then charged a fixed margin on top. This margin goes down as the number of payments you process goes up, making the pricing both transparent and cost-effective, even at scale.

Because you can use the POS software on any device, you can use computers or tablets you already own, or purchase whichever hardware will suit your budget.
Helcim takes care of your data by using firewalls with both Intrusion Detection and Intrusion Prevention. These systems monitor the network for any suspicious activity. Data is automatically backed up so it won’t be lost if anything is lost, stolen, or corrupted, and all data is encrypted with 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard keys.
Contract Terms
